Nancy is the School Program Coordinator at Monlux Elementary School in Studio City. She was the Math Coach at Beachy Elementary School for 2 1/2 years having taught elementary school for 17 years before that (she started in her early 20's). She has her administrative credential (a second master's degree; the first was in Teaching English as a Second Language), which is required if she wants to become a vice-principal or principal.

Jacob is 20 and is a sophomore at UC Berkeley. He is into drums, sitar and tabla drums and his computer when he's not with his friends, of which he has many. He won the 3rd and 4th grade spelling bees and came in second in the 6th grade spelling bee. He was recipient of the Olivia Kares' Memorial Scholarship based on six pillars of character at Live Oak Elementary School in 5th grade. In 8th grade he was recognized with only 2 other people as having had straight A's all 3 years at the Castaic Middle School. He won the drum-off every year he was at West Ranch High School.

Samy is 17 and going to West Ranch High School as a junior  Playing soccer is her favorite past time (in 2010 she was on the Castaic Tournament team: her regular season team was the #1 team in Castaic!). Her club team won State and then Regionals in 2011. She just made the Varsity soccer team! Needless to say she's a soccer-a-holic. She also enjoys playing with her friends
